WILDWORKS  is an international theatre company based in Cornwall.

We make unique and spectacular landscape theatre - performances and artworks that grow out of their locations; quarries, cliffs, harbours, derelict industrial sites, castles, empty department stores...

We look for potent sites, places that can hold a large audience but still provide powerful intimate and epic experiences. The spaces we choose aren’t always beautiful, idyllic landscapes. Places that stimulate us and stay in our memory can be challenging – industrial sites, urban landscapes.

We always work with communities, often with people who have never been involved with theatre or performance before.

The place is the story and the show

Sometimes we bring the seeds of a narrative to a site, always we’ll look for more seeds in the landscape and people that we meet. We are drawn to stories that are both epic and intimate, human stories that can touch and resonate with audiences across barriers of language, age and nationality.
