Wildworks are back!

St Dennis Working Men’s Institute Thursday 27th March to Saturday April 5th
This time we’re collecting ideas about the future of the Clay Country to create an exhibition and mini village.

If you live anywhere in the Clay Country we want to meet you.

Do keep an eye out for the WildWorks travelling cart, we’re taking to the streets to find out what futures look like to you!

It’s simple, just turn up, have a drop of tea or stop and have chat with us and let’s share our hopes, fears and dreams for the future.

St Dennis Working Men’s Institute on Saturday April 5th 12 noon to 8:30pm

You are invited to a community celebration party and Premiere of ‘Heart of Clay’ a WildWorks film about St Dennis.

 Drop in for ten minutes or stay for the afternoon!

From Midday: Visit the newly created ‘village within a village’… a unique shop, a museum featuring a collection of the people of the Clay’s vision of their Past, plus a library of futures and other surprising installations.

5:30 to 8:30pm: The celebration continues and the film premiere of Heart of Clay is going to be held for one night only, in the new village ‘cinema’. There will be screenings at 5:30pm 6:30pm and 7:30pm.

PLUS live traditional Cornish and Breton music from The Barveks and refreshments.

Since the beginning of 2008, WildWorks have been searching for memories of the Clay District in Cornwall.
We have been based at Hendra Road Methodist Church where our team of makers have made memory boxes from the many stories and memories that we have gathered.
These memory boxes have been exhibited along with all of the wonderful work made by the children of St Dennis School with WildWorks, at our famous tea parties at ClayTawc. (along with the consumption of much tea and many pasties from Les' shop!)
