Steve was born in London and moved to Cornwall aged 14. He trained at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and the National Youth Theatre. He then spent 15years working in theatre and TV both nationally and internationally working with the RSC at Stratford, London theatres including the Gate, Notting Hill, the Roundhouse, Duke of York’s and the Haymarket.

Other experience includes Ipswich, Chester and Scarborough. Steve moved back to Cornwall in 19992, where he now lives with his partner and three children.

He began working with Kneehigh in 1993 and developed an interest in devising and landscape theatre. productions include ’Windfall’ ’Ghost Nets’ and ’Fish boy’.

He also works with Miracle, Cornish Theatre Collective and has also been known to run away with No Fixed State Circus.

Steve was in 'A Very Old Man with Enormous Wings' and played Aristeus in ’Souterrain.’
